Erratic Synchronization
This body of work began in 2002 shortly after the death of sculptor George Rickey and was created as an homage to him. George Rickey was a
significant contributor to the field of kinetic sculpture.
The Erratic Synchronization series is based on the principles of movement created through the use of a stable magnetic field. The repellent properties of magnetism form the impetus behind the movement inherent in this body of work.
